An
Arian born in 1952 and a graduate in arts from Osmania University
. Lalit Pohankar is a student of the renowned Hyderabad artist &
poet Mr. Narender Rai., under whose able guidance she has learnt
the various facets of painting and earned her expertise in the media
of Oil and Water Colour.
She has conducted various solo
and group exhibitions. A few of them are

Her first solo exhibition at Ravindra
Bharati, inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Mr. P. V. Narshima
Rao. She later participated in a series of exhibitions held at various
places including the IFACS in 1976 and still life at Mumbai in 1982.
Married in the year 1974 she continued
to learn the different media of painting and with the years developed
her skills in Glass, Nirmal, Ceramic, 3D and Pot Painting. For a
brief period she was also involved in designing and making hand
painted greeting cards for companies like the TATA STEEL, VST to
name a few. |

To pursue her passion
and spread her expertise she now runs a Painting Institute in the
name of "Parivartan Affordable Art Classes" With an unique
concept of "affordable art" Parivartan encourages its
students to take up art as a career by enhancing their skills and
natural talent.
Right from its inception Parivartan
has been labeled as a creative unit and time has now come for us
to take that creativity beyond the limits of our doors. At Parivartan
we understand the beauty of art and strive to protect and beautify
it even more, because we believe that a creative world is a beautiful
world. |
